To celebrate five years of impact, Create + Collaborate commissioned a film to premiere at their anniversary celebration and awards program. The goal was to tell the organization’s story in a way that honored students, volunteers, and partners while clearly communicating the mission and long-term impact of their work supporting first-generation college students.
Silver Tint Media collaborated with Optimist Brand Partners and Style by Studio 33 to bring the film to life, aligning the storytelling, visuals, and tone with the broader creative direction of the event.
the challenge
The film needed to do more than recap history—it needed to create an emotional connection with the audience in a live event setting. That meant balancing storytelling, pacing, and visuals in a way that would resonate both in the room and beyond, while also remaining consistent with the event’s visual identity and messaging framework.
Because the video would premiere during a live program, production timelines, coordination, and delivery standards had to be precise.
PRODUCTION & POST-PRODUCTION
Filming took place over two production days, capturing interviews and supporting visuals that reflected both the personal stories and broader impact of the organization. Silver Tint Media secured the filming location, directed interviews, and managed the full production process from capture through completion.
All post-production was completed in-house, including editorial, color correction and grading, motion graphics, and audio finishing. Every stage of the process was guided by the story’s emotional arc and the event’s visual identity, ensuring the final film felt cohesive, polished, and impactful in a live premiere setting.
Event Animations & Visual Loops
Motion graphics designed to shape the atmosphere of the room—not just the screen.
We had the opportunity to design and animate a series of motion graphics and looping visuals displayed throughout the awards program. Created to align with the event’s visual identity, these animations added movement, energy, and continuity between segments while supporting the overall tone of the celebration. Designed specifically for live display, each loop balanced visual impact with subtlety to enhance the audience experience without distracting from the program.
The result
The film premiered at Create + Collaborate’s five-year celebration, setting the tone for the evening and reinforcing the organization’s mission and impact. The finished piece not only honored the people behind the work but also helped communicate the vision for the years ahead.
Through collaboration across creative partners and a focused production approach, the final film delivered a cohesive visual experience that connected with the audience and elevated the event.
